About Matt
Certainty Data Backup puts the average home users back in control of their files. Even experienced, technical users will appreciate the degree of flexibility and reliability of this personal backup solution.
- Certainty just works. Spend one minute configuring it, and Certainty
does the rest.
- Low resource usage. Certainty uses low amounts of memory when idle.
And, while performing a backup, it uses only 30% of the system resources of
Windows Explorer copying files.
- Stability. Even in testing, Certainty has - to date - never crashed
and forced quit (or blue-screened, heh). It's intuitive enough to prevent common
user errors.
- Error recovery. If something goes wrong during a backup, Certainty will
notify you. If a backup stops unexpectedly or if the user cancels it, there is always
the option to resume where it left off without any data loss.
- File verification. After a backup is complete, it compares original files with
the copies to ensure they copied correctly and completely.
- Backup scheduling. Perform automatic backups in the background on a daily, weekly,
or monthly basis. Even keep up to 30 old backups, and your backups double as archives.

Version 1.0 RC1 will feature stability and performance improvements.
